I am writing to apply for a Schengen visa as I intend to travel to France from August 10 to August 22, 2024.
The purpose of my travel is to enjoy a pre-marriage vacation. Although I will be getting married on he New Year holiday in 2025, the weather at that time will be too cold for travel. My fiancé, Miss TRAN HA AN, will also be applying for a visa to accompany me on this trip. Europe has always been a dream travel destination for many, including myself. Since childhood, I have yearned to book a trip to Europe. Therefore, during the upcoming Japanese OBON holiday, we have decided to choose Europe as our summer tourist destination. I am particularly excited to visit the magnificent sights in France, experience the renowned French cuisine, and immerse myself in the French culture and way of life. Additionally, during our stay, my girlfriend and I wish to spend a holiday in Greece, Italy, and Switzerland to further enjoy our pre-marriage travel and celebrate our upcoming marriage ceremony.
I am currently employed at ABC company, a dispatching company in Tokyo, where I have been working as a mold manufacturing technique support engineer since July 2018. I have already obtained the approval from my employer for the duration of my trip.

- Visa application form, duly dated and signed with attached passport-size pictures
- Passport, showing my travel experience
- Travel Insurance, coverage of €30,000
- E-ticket reservation for my flight via Japan Airline for Tokyo– Paris [August 10-August 21, 2024]
- Hotel reservations for our holidays in the France, Greece, and Switzerland
- Certificates of Employment showing basic information about the company I work for and the work I am doing
- Payslips, Proof of bank account balance and Bank Account Statement as proof of my income
Planned Itinerary:
- August 10, 2023 – Flight from Tokyo(HND) to Paris(CDG) via Japan Airline JP0385 + JP0019
- August 11, 2023 – Arrive in Paris and stay at Ibis Styles Paris Eiffel Cambronne
- August 12, 2023 – Sightseeing in the Arc de Triomphe, Panthéon, Musée du Louvre
